Our mission, vision, and the story behind Ibn KHALDOUN Cultural Center
Ibn KHALDOUN Cultural Center is dedicated to providing a welcoming space for worship, learning, and community building for Muslims in Kearny, NJ 07032 and the surrounding areas. We strive to nurture faith, encourage lifelong learning, and foster strong bonds within our diverse community.
We envision a thriving community center that serves as a hub for spiritual growth, education, and social services—open to people of all backgrounds—while preserving and sharing the rich traditions of Islamic culture and scholarship.
Named after the renowned 14th-century scholar Ibn KHALDOUN, our center was founded by community members who saw the need for a dedicated space for prayer, education, and gathering in Kearny. Since then, we have grown into a home for daily prayers, weekend schools, community events, and outreach programs that serve families across generations.
Today, Ibn KHALDOUN Cultural Center continues to grow thanks to the generosity and volunteer efforts of our community. We welcome new members and visitors to join us for prayers, classes, and events throughout the year.
